The Beaver Boardwalk, the world’s longest freshwater boardwalk is a great family outing that showcases the local wetland system around Maxwell Lake.
Built over several years through volunteer effort with corporate support, the attraction features more than three kilometers of boardwalk, seating areas, and interpretive signs. Numbers of beavers vary from year to year, but at times there are upwards of a dozen in the area.

The new trail that goes up the Bighorn Ridge south of Hinton is complete and open. Check out Stairway to Heaven and Blowdown-Flowdown. Great fun riding that climbs the ridge and rewards with super fun downhill…
Unfortunately, presently the Trans-Mountain pipeline construction is underway and cuts trails network in half. Access the lower part of our trail system as always through the bike park. To access the further trails, drive up Robb Road until you come to the first right you can make above the bike park and park on the side of the road off Robb Road. Do not park on Robb Road or enter the yard that has the blue gates.
